ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

Every year, one first year wrestler is recognized as the Panther Cub Rookie of the Year.  All first year wrestlers are eligible for this award.

First year wrestlers do not know many moves or have match experience.  Most of their success comes from shear aggressiveness and athletic ability.  They have to overcome their fear of the unknown and jump completely into the challenging sport of wrestling.

Motivation comes from within each individual. It's a personal thing. It's pride, guts, desire, whatever you want to call it; some people have it in their bellies, and some don't. - Mike Ditka

The following wrestlers have had a great start to their wrestling careers.  Even though there are no guarantees for the future, at least for now, they are the Panther Cub Rookies of the Year!
